About the Department

1. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) – Physics
Duration: 3 Years (6 Semesters)
Type: Undergraduate Degree
Eligibility: Successful completion of 10 + 2 (Science stream) with Physics and Mathematics.
2. Master of Science (M.Sc.) – Physics
Duration: 2 Years (4 Semesters)
Type: Postgraduate Degree
Eligibility: B.Sc. degree with Physics as a core/main subject.
3. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) – Physics
Duration: Minimum 3 Years (Full-time)
Type: Research Degree
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Physics (or equivalent postgraduate degree) with required minimum marks.
