Student Welfare

The Student Welfare framework of Lzebra Girls College, Kota is committed to ensuring a safe, inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment for all students. The institution believes that academic excellence must be complemented by emotional well-being, social responsibility, and personal growth. To achieve this, a structured system of committees functions actively to safeguard student interests and promote holistic development.

The Wellness and Health Committee works to promote physical health, mental well-being, stress management, and a balanced lifestyle. It organizes awareness programmes, counseling sessions, health camps, and mentoring initiatives to ensure that students receive timely emotional and psychological support.

The SC/ST Committee operates in accordance with government norms to ensure protection of the rights and dignity of students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The committee addresses issues related to discrimination, provides guidance regarding scholarships and welfare schemes, and ensures strict compliance with the provisions of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

The Grievance Redressal Cell provides a transparent and confidential mechanism for students to present their academic or administrative concerns. The Cell ensures fair inquiry and timely resolution of complaints, fostering trust and accountability within the institution.

The Women Cell is dedicated to promoting gender sensitivity, women’s empowerment, and safety on campus. It conducts awareness programmes on legal rights, self-defense, and personal safety while ensuring a respectful and secure learning environment for all female students.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) functions as a quality enhancement body, ensuring continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance. It promotes best practices, collects feedback from stakeholders, and works towards maintaining high standards in teaching–learning processes and institutional governance.

In addition to these committees, the institution also encourages student participation in cultural activities, sports, NSS, career guidance programmes, and leadership initiatives. Through coordinated efforts of all committees, the college ensures equal opportunities, ethical conduct, and a nurturing atmosphere where students can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

The Student Welfare system thus reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to student-centric governance, inclusivity, and holistic development.
